Women in Technical Education Development (WITED) Kumasi Technical University Chapter Ghana celebrated Worlds Day. The Day was scheduled to take on 11th and 12th October at 9:00am on each day at the University New Great Hall with the  Theme: Empowering Girls in Technology Innovation.
 Dr.(Mrs) Patricia Owusu-Darko (President-National WITED & President KsTU-WITED chapter), Dr Cynthia Osei and Ms. Amina Abubakar were present to Grace the occasion by giving motivational talk to students from attending schools Kumasi Anglican Senior High, Mancell Vocational College, Opoku Ware Girls Vocational, Kumasi Technical Institute to mention and Gabidezin House Of Fashion to mention a few celebrated Empowering Girls in Technology Innovation where students were taught a 30 minutes of coding and blogging to motivate woman and girls to be involved in Information technology. EQWIP HUP also gave presentation on information about how to use IT to assess information on the internet. Nadia from EQWIP HUP also gave presentation on Entrepreneur where she emphasized on characteristics of entrepreneur. Attending schools like Mancell Vocational College, Opoku Ware Girls Vocational, Kumasi Technical Institute and Catherine an Hospitality department KsTU mounted an exhibition on the 11th October respectively. www.hapaspace.com
